Since I have been out of the loop for months, maybe they have been assigned a lakorn together already, if not they need to get back together for a lakorn with a good script and a good director ASAP. I am talking about James Jirayu and Bella Ranee Campen of Ch3. I miss them since the gentleman series, Khun Chai Puttipat.

Multi-talented actress/TV host, comedian Panisara ‘Opal’ Primpru weds her long time love of 2.5 years actor/singer/dermatologist Smith ‘Oak’ Arayaskul among friends and family at the Grand Hyatt Erawan hotel in Bangkok today March 23, 2014.

Since Opal does not fit the typical standard of Thai beauty, their relationship was scrutinized by the public because they seem like an odd couple. Some said Oak could have done better, maybe getting someone who looks like Miss Thailand. Some thought it was a publicity stunt while others thought Oak was gay. Opal has stated he is not, she has gay friends, they would have told her. Oak defended his choice in a mate, he finds Opal beautiful and she has a good heart.

I know many might disagree, I find them lovely together. I have seen Opal on TV shows, in movies, she has a kicker personality. To me, she is beautiful in a quirky unique way. It’s works. Beauty is in the eyes of the beholder. Everyone deserves love and happiness no matter how you THINK they look. I read once maybe on my blog or somewhere else (youtube) someone commenting that Opal looks like an ugly monkey. Sarcastically, I say ‘nice one’ netizens.

Opal has this level of style that I love. She carries herself in a way that makes you look at her. She is oozing with confidence, with style, it’s unique. For her wedding, Opal wore a tight-fitted white mermaid shirt dress, reminding me of the golden age of Hollywood glamour, her hair was slink back, she finished the look with bold diamond earrings.

I can not forget little mini Paula Taylor at the wedding, Lyla Jane Buttery, Paula’s young daughter. She was the cute highlight for the wedding, participating in the gate ceremony, being just an overload of adorableness, posing for the camera, sporting a big smile while riding on her father’s shoulders.

I love looking at pics of celebrities when they were kids. Some go through a dramatic change, while other have subtle transformations. In the case of ’Pope’ Thanawat Wattanaputi, Ploy Chermarn’s husband in ‘Samee Teetra’, he hasn’t change much. I instantly recognize Pope in the picture from his days at the Horwang school in Bangkok.

Considering who is she dating, if actress Aum Patcharapa had a son, I believe he would look like this little guy–Bhumijai Ongkosit, the nephew of her current boyfriend, businessman Pithan ‘Amp’ Ongkosit. The couple has been dating for more than 2 years and from what I can tell from his little nephew, his family has strong genes. The men in his family all lookalike. If she marries him and they have a son, he is gonna look like little Bhumijai. This little guy is turning 2 in June.

Aum Atichart, leading man for Ch3 told reporters his upcoming wedding to his long time girlfriend actress/singer Nat Myria is fast approaching as they are nearly 50% done with the preparations. He is not giving out the exact date, it will not be in June as been reported. In roughly 3-4 months, they will hold their non-traditional wedding like a private family dinner among their love ones. They will not be sending out wedding invitations. Not surprising, both are at a maturer age  and this would be Nat Myria’s second wedding.

Actor/singer Peter Corp Dyrendal officially becomes a father today, March 25, 2014. His wife Ploy has given birth via a Cesarean section to their son Panther Corp Dyrendal. The little guy was delivered at the Samitivej Sukhumvit Hospital in Bangkok at 3:41 PM. He weighed in at 3140 grams or 6.9 lbs. This is the couple’s first child together.

It just seems like everyone in the Thai entertainment industry is either getting married or planning to have kids. Aff and Songkran are trying to conceive, actress ‘Benz’ Pornchita Na Songkhla and her comedian hubby Micky are also trying, so is Ann Alisha and Puri Hiranpruk. And tons of Thai celebrity couples are tying the knot.

Friend of the bride ‘Toey’ Jarinporn Junkiat and her long time boyfriend of 3 years actor Alex Rendell attended Opal and Oak Smith’s wedding this past Sunday and people took notice on how adorable they are together. Sincerely people are cheering them on to get marry one day, not too soon. As they are just in their early 20′s, both turning 24 years old this year. This young couple has been dating openly but discreetly for the past few years.

I like them together. They seem like two normal kids who found love and are having a normal relationship. It’s not over top like some celebrity couples who overly publicized their relationship. I  have not heard anything negative about their relationship ever.

They look so young, like high-schoolers, bright and refreshing.

Ch7′s leading actress Min Pechaya is chic and bold for Volume magazine for their March 2014 issue. Not many can pull of this look, the black shapeless dress, multi-color blue strapped heels, it reminds me of the 80′s, the TV comedy variety show ‘In living Color’. If you ain’t pretty like Min, you would look like a clown  in a black dress, maybe like Mimi from the ‘Drew Carey Show’.

Seems like everyone is racing to get marry, 31 year old Dutch-Thai actress ’Sa’ Marisa Anita has married her boyfriend ‘Bert’ Attaphon Sirisuksakunchai (35) yesterday March 28, 2014. It was a big surprise, the couple had a private ceremony which consisted of exchanging the ring and signing their marriage certificate, not more than 10 of their closest family members were present to act as witness to their wedding ceremony. They were advised by a monk to conduct their wedding in the most simplistic fashion as it will help in their married life. Soon after the ceremony, the couple went to Hua Hin to enjoy themselves. Sa and her husband plan to have their wedding reception by the end of the year.

There was a time when Ch3 actor Alex Rendell worked for Ch7 as a child actor. Alex has grown up to be a well adjusted young man, turning 24 this year. Here he is with Ch3′s leading man Poh Nattawut Skidjai recreating a time when Poh gave Alex a piggy-back ride. Poh has aged gracefully and Alex has grown up well.

Not surprisingly, actress Marie Broenner has ended her contract with Ch3 and has also severed ties with her personal manager. She wants her independence and a chance to focus on her studies.

Instead of focusing on many things at once and not have it be satisfactory, Marie wants to focus on one thing at a time. In the past, she admits to be heavily influenced by others, she wants to start making her own decision, listening to her own voice. She listened to her others, made decisions advised by other people, when it turned sour she began to question herself as to why she didn’t make her own decision in the first place.

The decision to end her contract with Ch3 was her decision. Marie stated she is still young, she wants to try other jobs, she wants more private time to do other things.

As for a senior executive at Ch3 stating Marie is unprofessional–doesn’t practice her scripts and comes to the lakorn set unprepared, Marie responded: ‘issues about other people, I don’t know. The news have little affect on me. I am not disappointed with the news, I am disappointed by the people in the entertainment industry. For example the way you live, the social community after being in it, it’s uncomfortable. Right now, I am backing away.’

Her contract with Ch3 has ended and her relationship with her manager also ended. They have different views of integrity said Marie, it ended well according to Marie. We will see. They say that at the beginning and usually it doesn’t turn out that way.

Marie has had rumors of being unprofessional, of not getting along with her co-star Boy Pakorn, of smoking, of being a wild child having a good time with her lesbian friend. She has been plagued with bad news coverage.

Some Thai netizens don’t seem to care, some don’t even know who she is. ‘Who is she?’ Wrote a person at Kapook.

Others were  happy with the news. ‘Good riddance,’ wrote a happy anti-Marie Thai netizen.

I kinda like this new fella, ‘Vill’ Wannaros Sonthichai’s co-star DJ Push Puttichai Kasetsin for their upcoming lakorn ‘Lay Nangfah (Trickery of an angel)’, he seems like a good guy teasing his  animal co-star in the behind the scenes look of their lakorn.

Pointing to the ‘superstar’ cat at the 17:25 time mark: ‘You’re gonna help me work huh? I am not sure if this cat is happy or just lazy. I am really not sure. Before after we finished filming, it was just still. Staying just like that. Not going anywhere! Staying still, being very cute. Honestly I want the cat not to transform into a bird. Hey no, I want the nang’ek to not transform into a bird but into a cat. Being a bird, it’s too chaotic. One moment, it’s flying there, another moment flying somewhere else. I think transforming into a cat, staying still, it would be the best thing.’

Not having a traditional wedding, no wedding parade to the bride, no large party of people, only 10 members of their closest love ones. It is a private affair held during the Songkran festival on April 14, 2014 at their  bridal house.. The press will NOT be allowed, they will released their own pictures to the media as discuss earlier in previous interviews. Aum Atichart and Nat Myria plan to start a family soon, they had told her mother they will try to conceive soon after they marry. They want her mother to have a grandchild. Nat joked she is 25-26 years old, she doesn’t want to have a baby past 30. Everyone roared with laughter, Nat is heading towards her 40′s.

They are not calling it a wedding ceremony, it will be a laid-back event having dinner and taking photos.

They have no plans on signing a marriage certificate at this moment.

Aum:’We have not thought about it (marriage certificate). That day we might signed our marriage certificate. We haven’t decided what day we will.’

As for the dowry, Aum did not gave an exact moment. ‘It is an amount that will take care of us for the rest of our lives.’

Nat:’The time we have been dating, Aum has always taken good care of me. I am confident today and so forth, he will continue to be good to me. I have no amounts for the dowry because the thing we created together and the things he has given me, I think is sufficient.’

Didn’t he just get married. So many people getting married or have gotten married since last year, I can’t keep up. Oil Thana married his former air-hostess wife Ter last November 2013 and now they are expecting their first child. They are having a girl, but Oil does not want to disclose the due date. He wants to keep that private. Good for him for easily conceiving a child, so many people have been struggling. Oil have been getting advice from his friend and bandmate Lift Supoj about having kids. Lift married first and has a daughter.

Seriously? Thailand’s most watched channel, Ch7 is struggling. I usually don’t watch Ch7 lakorns because of their poor production quality, bad acting by some lead actors, newbie actors I have not gotten around to like yet. And don’t get me started with supernatural lakorns by Ch7 with terrible special effects. At least with Ch3, I have established a somewhat of a fanbase relationship with some of the actors and their special effects is not half-bad.

Introducing the real ‘Tik’ Jesadaporn Pholdee at home, being a father to his 2-month old son ‘Tent’ Jesapadin Pholdee, not as glamorous as being a leading man on TV, glossed up wearing a nice tailored suit, hair perfectly groomed–nope this is the real deal, it’s not half bad. He looks like a new father, exhausted from staying up all night caring for his young son. Good man. Nong Tent is absolutely adorable sleeping on his father’s shoulders, like it is the most comfortable place on earth. The picture is very enduring.

Producers/ actors/ directors ‘Nok’ Chatchai Plengpanich and his wife Nok Sinjai will become grandparents soon. Their youngest son ‘Dom’ Peradon Plengpanich and his wife Linda are expecting their first child together. The couple had a shotgun wedding on January 25, 2014. Linda is currently 7 months pregnant and they are having a boy. Three days ago, Dom had posted a picture of his son on instagram. Much happiness to this young couple. Life is beautiful.

A joyous time for Aum Atichart and his bride Nat Myria, they married today in a private ceremony among friends and family. They exchanged rings this morning, received blessing from their elders and will have a mini celebration among close friends this evening. No surprise, in attendance was Ann Thongprasom, Nat Myria’s long time friend and Aum’s former co-star in 2009′s ‘Revenge  Company (Borisut Bumbut Kaen)’ on Ch3.

Both the groom and the bride wept during the morning ceremony.

Shedding tears of joy among friends and family, actor Aum Atichart and his bride Nat Myria seemed truly happy at their wedding reception yesterday Monday April 14. It seemed like an emotional event, tons of tears. His speech for her was pretty amazing, it showed us how Nat Myria has changed Aum Atichart for the better.

Aum:’I have known her for 5 years…when I was younger than now…when I didn’t have a lot of responsibilities…when I was not as mature as I am now…when I am with her, I realized..her being a positive person, who has kindness towards her family, her mother–being around a good person, my personality changed also…this is one of the reasons why I have become a better person. It has made me a better man. I promise to continue to be a better person, I promise to love her from this day forward. I promise to love her always.’

Their reception was very fairy tale–prince charming escorting his bride on a white horse to their wedding reception. Literally they made quite an entrance riding a white horse. His two favorite leading ladies ‘Aff’ Taksaorn Paksukcharean and Ann Thongprasom were in attendance and gave speeches. On her instagram, Aff posted a picture of Aum kissing Nat on the forehead with the caption that read ‘my best friend’s wedding’. After all these years since ‘Jamleuy Ruk (Prisoner of love)’, they have remained close. Well, they worked together in countless other projects.
